The rules for SmartChase are very simple. Please read them before starting the game, either here or directly on the platform by clicking on ‘Game Rules’.
Start: To play SmartChase, you need a SmartPlaces account and at least one play coin. You can access the game on the SmartPlaces platform.
Play Coin & Lives: Each play coin gives you three lives. If you run out of lives, you can buy more through the SmartPlaces platform.
Objective: Guide SmartMan through a maze to eat all the pills while avoiding ghosts. Collect points and prizes to climb the leaderboard. Instant prizes and score boosts help increase your ranking. The top 20 players at the end of the campaign win grand prizes.
Instant Prizes: Instant prizes appear randomly in each level and can only be collected once per level. These give you both points and rewards.
Leaderboard & Grand Prizes: Compete for a spot on the leaderboard. If you are in the top 20 players at the end of the campaign, you could win a grand prize.
Score: Your total score adds up across all games played.
Avoiding Ghosts: During the game, ghosts try to catch SmartMan. If SmartMan is caught, he loses a life.
Pills: When SmartMan eats white pills, he earns points to increase his score.
Power Pills & Hunting Ghosts: Eating a purple power pill lets SmartMan temporarily catch ghosts, earning extra points for each ghost captured.
Timer: Each level has a time limit. When time is up, you lose a life.
Pausing & Closing the Game: You can pause and return to the game later. However, if you close your browser during a level, you will lose a life. To avoid this, only close your browser between levels.
End of Level or Game Over: If you lose all your lives, any instant prizes and points earned in that level are saved. You can continue playing at any time with new lives.
